Ohad Bendror (Bendas)

Founder and CEO

Ohad has been leading the NanoSpun vision and activities since its commencement in 2010 and has served as CEO since its incorporation in early 2011. He is an experienced entrepreneur with widespread experience in building and managing early stage technology companies. Ohad holds an MBA from the College of Management School of Business, Israel and an LL.M and from Santa Clara University, CA USA.

Dalit Weinstein-Fischer

Director of Biology & Renewable Chemicals Applications

Dalit joined NanoSpun in 2016 following 8 years as Department Head of R&D Biotechnology at Sigma Aldrich. She has vast experience in fermentation processes of various microorganisms and downstream processes to produce small molecules, such as antibiotics. Dalit holds a B.Sc. in Life Sciences from The Hebrew University in Jerusalem, an M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Microbiology Department from Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem. She is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Genetics in The Hebrew University and has completed professional education courses at MIT in Boston.

Itzhak Hurwitz

Mechanical Engineering Manager

Itzhak joined NanoSpun in 2016. Prior to joining NanoSpun, Itzhak was a part of an R&D team with Medtronic INC, a medical device cooperation, taking part in the development of MRI Scanner and surgical accessories. Itzhak brings to NanuSpun over 15 years of experience in R&D mechanical design and project management in the Aviation, Print and Medical Device industries. Itzhak served in the IAF (Israeli Air Force) as an engineering officer, specializing in aircraft modifications and aero-mechanical systems integration. He holds a B.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering from the Technion Institute of Technology.
